Offload Capabilities of the Send Anywhere API
A new use of our API is linking your smartphone and desktop for offload sharing. This means every file transfer is automatically sent to your desktop on top of your selected destination(s).
This sounds fun and all but why would someone want to use it and in what instances?
Photos, Videos, Oh My!
Imagine that you are using a photo/video editing application. Chances are, once you edit your photos/videos, you are going to want to share them with your friends. However, also having a copy on your computer is nice for safe keeping or future editing. Through the Send Anywhere API, you can link your smartphone and PC through a one-time encryption key. This way, when sending files via the photo/video editing application, you automatically send a copy to your desktop.
Another use of this feature is using your desktop as secondary storage. This is great for those sending heavy video files. Being able to automatically offshoot these files means that you’ll be able to delete them from your phone when short on storage.
So what are you waiting for, now is the time to download our application across all your devices and test out the power of our API!
